Sixteen cards face down, eight pairs to find. The fewer moves, the better.

Pairs is the memory game, played on the plates of the catalogue. Cards face down, two turns at a time, and the faces you keep finding are the ones you will remember. It runs on published seasons only, so nothing appears here that is not already readable elsewhere on the site. Free, no account, and short enough to finish while a kettle boils.

The grid is dealt fresh each time, so no two rounds are the same and there is nothing to memorise between sessions. It works on a phone as well as on a desk: the cards are sized for a thumb. Whatever you turn over is a plate from a season you can go and read afterwards.
